Applied Viromics is a young biotech company aiming to support
functional genomics and gene therapy applications with novel gene transfer tools.
The focus of Applied Viromics is on developing recombinant viral
vectors for efficient gene delivery. We successfully combine our
expertise in molecular biology and virology in the production of
recombinant adenovirus, adeno-associated virus, and retrovirus. The superb quality of our viral vector makes
them perfect tools for gene transfer both in vitro and in vivo. Viral
vectors from Applied Viromics enjoy increased popularity among
academic researchers and industrial labs as well.
Applied Viromics, LLC was established in Fremont, California,
taking advantage of being in the vicinity of numerous biotech companies
and biomedical research institutions in
San Francisco Bay area. Our viral vector technology was first commercialized
in year 2001 and rapidly expanded to areas such as large-scale
production of plasmid DNA and baculovirus for recombinant proteins.
